1. Returns of Opened or Used Products

For hygiene, health protection, and product safety reasons, German Beauty Product does not accept voluntary returns of products that have been opened, used, tested, or had their original security or hygiene seals removed.

To qualify for a voluntary return, products must:

• Be completely unused and unopened.

• Remain in their original packaging.

• Have all factory seals and protective packaging intact.

• Be complete, undamaged, and suitable for resale.

• Meet the applicable return conditions.

Opened, used, or unsealed products are not eligible for voluntary returns or refunds.

Where applicable law provides a statutory withdrawal right, exclusions apply only to products that legally qualify for an exception, including qualifying sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

These restrictions do not affect statutory rights concerning defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products.

2. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all direct return shipping costs for voluntary returns.

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, customers are responsible for direct return shipping costs to the extent permitted by applicable law and provided they have been properly informed of this obligation before purchase.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured return shipping service.

Customers should retain proof of shipment until their return has been processed.

Return shipping costs resulting from defective or incorrectly supplied goods will be handled in accordance with applicable statutory obligations.

3. Customs Duties, Import Taxes & Clearance Fees

All applicable destination-country customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, brokerage charges, and other government-imposed import costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless expressly agreed otherwise during checkout.

International orders are generally shipped on a duties-and-taxes-unpaid basis.

Customers are responsible for:

• Checking applicable import requirements.

• Paying customs duties and import taxes.

• Providing information reasonably required for customs clearance.

• Cooperating with customs authorities and delivery providers.

• Collecting shipments within applicable collection periods.

German Beauty Product is not responsible for customs charges imposed by destination-country authorities where those charges are payable by the recipient under the agreed delivery terms.

Customers should contact their local customs authority before ordering if they are uncertain about applicable import charges or restrictions.

4. Refused, Unclaimed or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is returned or becomes undeliverable because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including:

• Refusal to pay applicable import duties or taxes.

• Failure to complete required customs clearance.

• Failure to collect a shipment within the carrier’s collection period.

• Refusal of delivery without a valid legal justification.

• An incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.

German Beauty Product reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to recover reasonable costs and losses resulting from the failed delivery.

4.1 Shipping and Return Cost Deductions

Where the customer is legally responsible for the unsuccessful delivery, the following documented costs may be deducted from any refund legally available:

A. Original Shipping Costs

The actual outbound shipping charges incurred by German Beauty Product, to the extent legally recoverable.

B. Return Shipping Costs

The actual costs charged by the carrier for returning the shipment to Germany.

C. Additional Carrier or Customs Charges

Reasonable, documented charges directly resulting from the customer’s failure to fulfill applicable delivery or import obligations, to the extent legally recoverable.

4.2 Restocking and Administrative Fees

For voluntary returns and failed deliveries outside the scope of mandatory statutory withdrawal or other consumer remedies, German Beauty Product may apply a restocking and administrative fee of up to 25% of the returned merchandise value, where expressly agreed and legally permissible.

This fee is intended to cover reasonable expenses associated with handling, inspection, processing, inventory administration, and restocking.

The fee will not be applied where prohibited by applicable law.

Where German standard-terms law applies, any agreed flat-rate compensation must satisfy the relevant legal requirements, including allowing the customer to demonstrate that no loss or a substantially lower loss occurred.

Any compensation already recovered through separate shipping, return, or handling charges will be taken into account to prevent double recovery.

No restocking fee will be charged where doing so would interfere with a valid statutory withdrawal, warranty, or other mandatory consumer right.

5. Refunds for Unclaimed or Returned Shipments

If an unclaimed or refused shipment is returned to German Beauty Product, we will review the circumstances of the return.

Where a refund is due, we may deduct legally recoverable costs attributable to the customer.

If the returned products are damaged, missing, or otherwise affected, any additional deductions will be assessed under applicable law.

Where legally permitted, refunds may be processed after the returned shipment has been received and inspected.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory statutory reimbursement deadlines or consumer remedies.

6. Customer Responsibility

By placing an international order, customers acknowledge that destination-country import requirements may apply and that customs duties and taxes may be payable upon arrival.

Customers are expected to provide accurate delivery information, cooperate with reasonable customs procedures, and make appropriate arrangements to receive their orders.

Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in additional charges or losses for which the customer may be responsible under applicable law.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

Where a provision conflicts with applicable mandatory law, the relevant statutory requirement takes precedence.
